Two related applications for 1 Firestone Road in Strathroy would split an existing 4.84-hectare (about 12-acre) industrial property into a new 1.01-hectare vacant lot and a 3.83-hectare lot with the existing building, and set up a 6-metre-wide access easement (a legal right for one property to use a strip of another's land for a driveway) so the new lot can reach the road through the retained property. Planning staff have recommended the county's Committee of Adjustment approve both applications, with conditions attached.
